☆ MODULARSTUDYSPACE
My approach to designing a study space began with an analysis of my peer’s study habits as well as reading about general ‘ideal’ study spaces based upon polls devised by university-level students. The consensus was varied. Each individual generally favors a quiet and peaceful area that isn’t too claustrophobic or isolated. However, there is no universally favored trait for studying. Therefore, my studies were not designed around any singular attribute; rather, I focused on creating a space that is modular and interchangeable to accommodate any study habits. The individual is presented with sliding facades, collapsible seating, and accessible storage spaces that create a sense of flexibility in any preferred atmosphere.
